What poultry breeds do you offer?
We specialize in high-quality, specialty, and rare breeds—including Silkies, Ayam Cemani, and French Copper Black Marans. Availability varies depending on the laying season, so check our current inventory or reach out to see what’s currently hatching!

How do you package hatching eggs for shipping?
We take extreme care in packing our fertile hatching eggs. Each egg is individually wrapped and secured in specialized foam shippers to protect them during transit as they travel across the country.

What is your policy or guarantee on hatch rates?
While we maintain high fertility rates in our own flocks, once eggs leave our hands, hatching success depends on factors outside our control (shipping stress, incubator calibration, humidity, and temperature). Because of this, we cannot guarantee a specific hatch rate, but we do guarantee that fresh, fertile eggs are carefully selected and packaged for your shipment.

Do you offer live chicks and goats for local pickup?
Yes! We offer local pickup in Denmark, SC by appointment. When chicks or goat kids are available, we will arrange a convenient time for you to meet your new herd or flock members.

Can I visit Bearded Lady Farms?
To keep our livestock safe, healthy, and biosecure, we operate as a working homestead and are open by appointment only for scheduled animal or egg pickups.

Where do you ship?
We ship hatching eggs and live poultry safely to hobbyist breeders and homesteaders across the continental United States.

How quickly will my order ship?
Hatching eggs are gathered fresh to ensure maximum fertility. Orders are typically fulfilled within 3 to 7 business days depending on lay schedules and order volume. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number right away
